Principle Partner, Mako Kellman, CCIM has worked for Albuquerque, NM based, Anvil Development, LLC since the Company’s founding. He has earned the CCIM designation and serves as a director of real estate activities. Those activities include acquisition, leasing, and disposition, in addition to the day-to-day operations of Anvil Development, LLC’s projects.

 

Over the course of Mako’s 24 years in the real estate industry he has completed transactions in all the commercial disciplines: office, industrial, land and multi-family; however, it is in retail properties that Mako has done 95% of his practice.  Mako’s experience includes activities related to: entitlements, negotiation, site selection, leasing of existing shopping centers, pre-leasing, disposition of the asset as a net leased investment, disposition of vacant properties, and land acquisition, among all other phases of the real estate cycle. He has represented properties as small as 270 SF to as large as a J.C. Penny anchored, enclosed regional mall.

 

Mako has also won the NAIOP Eagle Award for best retail project.
